These good bacteria  produce enzymes that breaks down the microscopic dirt into tiny particles and eat them. Furthermore they will continue to break down dirt 3- 5 days after cleaning. 

What happens with the waste water?  The bacteria enters the natural cycle – where they already exist – and continue to degrade organic material and convert it into carbon dioxide and water. Therefore they help to maintain a natural microflora when returning to nature.
